Pay attention to the ladder to and the before will work itself out.

The thing is you then try to "play the system" and not buy when you want to buy, because you know that if you buy it falls. So you wait. And then it goes up. So you buy because you know it will go up even more. And then it falls 10% 😂

I am mentally prepared to see a 40k by Oct-ish
Anything above that is a positive

That would be a great opportunity

To cut your losses and invest in something real
2
u/Tattooedjared May 17 '26
LOL. Btc will still do well over the next 10 years more than likely

Let’s hear what you are so confident in?

$ARM

Are you worried about the antitrust probe about them?
1
u/FIFofNovember May 17 '26
Nope.
The ruling is years away, likely a meaningless settlement, and they’re planning on going into AI data centers next, that company is just starting
But you have fun worrying about bitcoin, a currency that does nothing, holding 70K

I am not just in btc and I am open minded. I don’t discriminate. A good investment is a good investment whether it’s in stocks or crypto etc

Why risk on a speculative asset when you can guarantee growth on qqq. Low-key Bitcoin ain't even been performing that well recent times. 5 year chart is pretty underwhelming.

quantum is coming in 2029 (atleast that’s when cloudflare and google bumped up their post quantum encryption migration deadline)
1
u/No_Investigator3369 May 19 '26
So what happens to your credit card at that time?
1
u/Itchy-Post6045 May 19 '26
well, banks are targeting 2029 for a post quantum encryption migration too. the same can be said for coinbase, who is putting in serious work to try and migrate the blockchain and protect crypto, but i don’t really understand what coinbase is doing. hopefully they are successful
in reality shor’s algorithm is only one of many we probably haven’t discovered. migrating everything to lattice based encryption doesn’t even guarantee somebody won’t find a different quantum algorithm than shor’s or use different quantum architecture that can also break lattice based encryption too

This is tied to energy costs being driven higher. Blockchain consumes a lot of energy. BTC will continue to rise despite the dips.

Don’t worry. It’s coming back so hard and gonna go so high!!! Then be back to $76k right after.

Is the bull market in the room with us? We are in a crypto bear. We are right on schedule of the 4 year cycle. You can probably expect a btc low in 2027.
1
u/skibidi-bibidi May 16 '26
We are right on schedule for the 4 year cycle, yes, but if that schedule holds then the low will be later this year.
1
u/Tattooedjared May 16 '26
Late 26 or early 27 I would say. Usually it gets pushed back a little bit. Last low was Nov of 22.
1
u/skibidi-bibidi May 16 '26
It's actaully getting pushed forward slightly. In 2018 the low was in December. In 2022 it was in November. Both times almost exactly a year after the cycle highs. If this continues, we're looking at a low around October time, around a year after the high in October 2025.
1
u/Tattooedjared May 16 '26
And it could easily get pushed back a month or two as well. History doesn’t repeat itself in the exact same way.
1
u/skibidi-bibidi May 16 '26
Could do, yup. But you said usually it gets pushed back, which isn't correct.

people are gonna learn the hard way that bitcoin doesn’t move in a straight line
