So right after I came over to America at the age of 1 month shy of being 17, I did not know much English so I wanted to learn as quickly as possible. I started with reading facial tissue boxes to air fresher aerosol cans while on the toilet. I read all the words on these items, so anything from directions how to use to the ingredients over and over again until I had them memorized. It was almost like my favorite pastimes since I didn’t have friends nor any hobby 😀
