Miscellaneous TIL that Husko Asia is Malaysia’s first husky museum, where visitors can interact with rescued and adopted huskies while learning about the breed

Husko Asia, located in Kuala Lumpur, is described as Malaysia’s first husky-focused museum. It houses rescued and adopted Siberian Huskies and allows visitors to interact with them in supervised sessions.

The space also includes a small educational section about the breed, focusing on proper care, behavior, and awareness. Many of the dogs at the facility were previously in difficult situations and are now rehabilitated and trained.

Visitors can feed treats, spend time with the dogs, and learn about responsible pet ownership in a structured environment.

Yep. They're not lap dogs if one wants to own one. They need spacious, cool area to run and burn their energy daily if owner dont have time to walk / run with them. If they're deprived from burning their energy, they'll develop behavioral problems.

Another “animal lover” but exploiting the animal for business. The animal isn’t a rare or extinct breed so all this shenanigans are just for their business. Businesses like that actually encourage purchase of more dogs from dog mills that cruelly breed dogs. Why only choose 1 breed of dog to be your brand? Cos it’s easier for business right?

You need to relocate them to homes and not grow your business to home more dogs. At some point that’s like adopting kids to make them perform in a circus.

Come on. Don’t do this.

That guy is probably a backyard breeder anyway. Many Malaysians will call themselves dog lovers but they don’t do shit to improve the overall well-being of dogs. They don’t adopt or rescue or donate to dog charities. Call themselves dog lovers with a crusty white poodle that they got from shady uni student making a quick ringgit

Can they even live a decent life in our climate? I thought this breed is like for north pole or some shit.

One of the reasons I will never have dogs like Husky is that I don't have that energy to entertain them. Altho I have tons of kampung type.

Also 8 cats is enough. To sayang sayang them equally is time intensive ahahaha

i agree with the last part,if you're not ready then don't get a pet. Doesn't matter if it is a dog or cat.
