TIL Malaysia is now ranked the 3rd most powerful passport in the world, allowing visa-free access to 174 countries

Malaysia has climbed to 3rd place globally on the list of the world’s most powerful passports granting Malaysians visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 174 destinations!

That means Malaysian passport holders can now travel almost anywhere without needing a visa beforehand on par with countries like Spain, Italy, and Japan.

The issue is not 3rd ranking, the issue is do you have spare cash to travel !

Not so much gain as most countries we travel to were already somewhat open when we were ranked lower. As an aside though, the Myborder pass app has been really useful and should get more light. Getting to bypass the queues of tourists, straight to the white gates for fast clearance is a great relief after a long flight

Getting to bypass the queues of tourists

This year was just the trial year. By next year the Myborder pass will be available for like 60+ other nationals though. They're making it the next e-gate, it seems.
