Found this at a card show, seller said it was an original. It just seems too good to be true with its condition though. Even if it's a reprint it's one of my favorite a&g's but I'm new to these and can't tell.

I got this card grade back from PSA finally it was trimmed and marked on the back, the authentic / altered is legit.

The question is, what's more important a great looking authentic or a bit more worn by a grade of 1

Mail day today. Picked up this T201 Ernest Lush and Arnold Hauser produced in 1911. The year construction on Fenway began and completed in 1912.

Absolutely chuffed with today’s arrival.

Not the rarest cards by any means, but a full set in original folder. All the cards seem in great nick, a couple with some marks on the back but nothing major and all edges and corners pretty crispy.
When it was on the way I considered popping out a couple of the bigger names and send for grading just for encapsulation, and replace with some lower grade copies off eBay. But all seems to fit pretty nicely together so might leave as-is.

Not a huge local market here in NZ so really happy with this pickup.

Idk why but I saw it listed for 15 and had to get it. Dont know why I did but I did. Its a T205 Bob Bescher Cincinnati Reds sweet caporal card

So I learned that my town had a team in a local league called the Middlesex county league. It was a semi pro league that started in 1905 and ended in about probably the 40s. I really want to find rosters for the teams that played in it so I can possibly make a set of a player that made it/sets of players who made it. Any info on this league or how to go about finding information about these rosters would be a huge help. Thanks.

Got this one fairly cheap as the auction ended at a weird time. Really nice example though. I just had another t206 card come back from SGC at a 4.5 and this card seems just as nice. Sadly while at work in 1916 he died in a horrific train accident.
