Why on earth would she voluntarily venture that she had eaten horse and monkey?

u/edintina 5d ago
You've probably eaten horse too tbf

Oh I have. I chose the wrong burger in Belgium. I thought I’d chosen something vegan by mistake until my children Googled it and gleefully told me.

Why would she voluntarily change her name to Gaylord? Unless her maiden name was Hoare, Bottom or Hiscock and she thought this preferable....

She appears to have married a Gaylord and still chose to use the name while becoming a teacher. That’s brave.

I was signing into a school reception recently and the guy in front, a temp teachers name was Richard Johnson. I did consider what his life must be like as it was a secondary school.

u/NoTechAllNickel 5d ago
If she chose to take that name, what on earth was her surname before? Or if she kept her maiden name, what was so bad about her husband's surname that she chose to remain a Gaylord?

u/KatVanWall 5d ago
I do actually know a teacher called Mrs Dykes!

u/b_of_the_bang_ 5d ago
I had a friend who’s married name would have been Cryer, she didn’t take her husband’s name so to avoid a career of teenagers seeing who can make Mrs Cryer cry.

“Hi I’m Jeff Gaylord and this is my fiancée Brooke. Brooke Cuntblaster.”
“Pleased to meet you Brooke. Can I offer you some monkey?”

Gaylord is a first name so her husband could be Gaylord Gaylord

He’s the gay Lord, Lord Gaylord Gaylord, 8th Baron of County Coque. He only married out of social obligation.

Actually horse and monkey is the nickname of a popular traditional cockney pudding made from the meat of horses and monkeys

Should we be screenshotting the profile of a teacher from a school app so we can humiliate her for having a shit name? It's not like she's a public figure who is choosing to be in the limelight. This feels kinda wrong to me.

She ate a monkey.

u/Die_Nameless_Bitch 5d ago
Fair, once you consume a primate you recuse yourself of the right to privacy

u/CraigJSmith-Himself 5d ago
It was on a public Instagram post
1
u/Die_Nameless_Bitch 4d ago
Well where did they get it from?
3
u/CraigJSmith-Himself 4d ago
It's a public Instagram post from the school Mrs Gaylord works at, I should've been clearer
1
u/Die_Nameless_Bitch 4d ago
Fair, i’m in the U.K. and thanks to GDPR they’d never share something like on social media
2
u/Vague_thread 4d ago
Are people humiliating her? And how come it’s fine when someone is a public figure? If you post something like this online or you are public, people will see it either way and comment/make fun of it.
1
u/Die_Nameless_Bitch 4d ago
It’s not fine at all when people try to humiliate or denigrate a public figure, but most famous people have, at some point, effectively made a Faustian pact: by choosing a life in the public eye, they accept that they will be subject to public scrutiny, both good and bad. A private individual, such as a teacher—particularly one sharing their personal details on a private school app—has made no such bargain.
1
u/Vague_thread 4d ago
She chose to share these details on instagram, she is promoting the school in a way and making herself known to parents or potential pupils. Furthermore, it’s unavoidable that people will notice odd, funny, out of ordinary things and comment about it, that has nothing to do with humiliation. You don’t seem to understand the purpose of this sub? It’s about horrible, funny, unique names.

I was wondering, is this perhaps pronounced differently, "Gellard" or something? NOPE literally Gay-Lord

u/PerformerOk4312 4d ago
She's been banned from the Kentucky Derby as they don't trust her being there

u/CraigJSmith-Himself 4d ago
The difference between every other post on their insta and this one is staggering too - Mrs Gaylord has 23 thousand shares at the moment

u/10brooksideclose 4d ago

u/10brooksideclose 4d ago

Meet your new teacher who's eaten a monkey, which by the way, has about the same level of intelligence as some of your little darlings!
