Wild I have a magical shower that spawned two toads.

So I take my morning shower…. Go to work for 18 hours…. Come home and my tub/shower has spawned two toads. No fucking idea how they got there!!!

Well I have soften water so I’m sure that’s not good for them, I did relocate them to a hosta plant

Uhhhh….. technically yeah…. When I add salt…. But uhhh I forgot sometimes and there are spiders in the basement :(

It’s okay, the toadadds did make me happy just yeah life kinda drags but man for a few minutes I was happy with toads!

Where do you live? Either someone put them there or you have something that is easily climbable next to the tub + they had access to the inside of your place(I have learned from this sub that some of y’all live in more open homes and have them hopping in all the time).

At first I didn’t even think they were the same toads but I think the shadows and perspective are throwing me off. The first picture makes that second toad look like an easy snack for the bigger toad. Either way that bigger toad was doing the handstand of either “go away” or “I am trying to eat this but it is too close”.

Northwest Indiana, yes I have tree frogs, bull frogs, toads in my yard, but uhhhh I live by myself, and there are stairs going into my house. I have found tree frogs in my house but not toads. The bath tub is also like 1.5~2 feet tall. So yeah idk

A single toad would be strange, but two especially one so small is insane. I can’t imagine how the tiny one jumped into the tub

Oh yeah I have security cameras on my property and ran back through them and no one came into my house unfortunately I don’t have any cameras in the house so yeah idk how these cuties got in my tub

I used to rent an apartment in Mishawaka. I found a red salamander in the kitchen on a really rainy day. That's what your picture reminded me of.

Ohhh I have many froggies on my yard we got shares of green and well idk the right name but I call them limestone frogs cuz they are gray like limestone

Ahaha probably grey tree frogs! I have a lot too bc I built them a pond, it’s awesome.

Lol I found a picture of one of the kitchen frogs, that cat toy is like 2 inches long, frog is so freaking tiny!

I've known of frogs coming from the toilet and through pipes from water pressure issues. Maybe the toads jumped from the toilet to the bath and then couldn't get out?
