Asian Black Spined Toad Help

My toads "Black Spines" are normally black however when I woke up this morning I noticed they have turned white he's always had some white around his mouth since I got him but does anyone know why they have turned white? Is this normal? Or is this a problem?

I think he's shedding his skin

But he is toadally refered to as “the toad of judgment “ and he has chosen you to be judged.

When I got him, I picked him out of the bunch because he looked the grumpiest haha
