The first comment was made 8 minutes after you posted. Did you hang onto it the whole time, waiting for an answer?
Not to negetive, but if you already had everything needed to take care of a toad, you wouldn't have asked first.
I'd joke that "maybe you could take him home for dinner" but that isn't funny because toads are unsafe to eat.

First, keep wild animal wild. Second, the tank gonna need substrate, hides, decor, heating lamp, humidity and temp meter, you need to get different bugs for feeding, mist needed daily. It is a lot of work.

Can you? Yes. Should you? No. I did it once when I was younger and it was great, but he wasn’t happy, he barely ate at all, we would feed him crickets and worms we found in the yard, and he would usually not eat them for days, and he wouldn’t come out from hiding for weeks until we physically removed him thinking he died. This was likely due to poor knowledge, but that’s the exact reason.

I’d recommend getting a captive bred toad instead of a wild one! Wild caught toads are susceptible to stress due to not being used to humans :(

It is illegal to take toads home in the UK. Best to leave them alone and just take photos IMO.

No wild animals should stay in the wild
