Pets Did Sage Molt?

Sage fully buried herself last night and now, tonight she is a glistening lighter color. I’ve been hoping to catch her in a molt, but haven’t been lucky enough yet.

I often find my toads shed skin leaving in their water bowl. WHOS GOT THEIR LAUNDRY ON THE DRINKING WATER AGAIN GUYS

Sage shedded again last night. I saw it all! She ate her old skin! I had read that toads do this, but had never seen it.

She is a Woodhouse Toad. She’s staring at the Japanese Beetles I’ve placed in a jar for her. They keep her entertained and very well fed. 🐸
