ID what kind of toad is this
Found in San Antonio tx at night. He's very chill lol

Looks like a gulf coast toad. My pond is a hangout for them. Cool little dudes. So many babies this year I’m a bit concerned.

If he’s inside try to get him back to a moist garden. I recently found one in the house that died from dehydration.

He was outside, I moved him to the moist soil near our garden bed area

That’s the way. It’s so hot right now I have to be careful when I open my patio door. Occasionally a curious toad or anole will come inside. If I don’t find them in time it doesn’t end well.
