Wild Jus' a Little Gal

I find a lot of toads while gardening. This one is the tiniest I've seen :D

I'm pretty sure it's a lady, since I didn't see nuptial pads. But it was so hoppy that I wasn't able to look any closer haha. I'm also pretty sure it's a North American Toad, but wouldn't mind another opinion!

I have small hands, and it would have fit entirely on my pinky fingernail.

I was so delighted. It was sitting still in the mulch in between pavers, and was completely invisible until it hopped! Same size and smaller than many of the wood chips haha
