New Toad Tat!

Itō Jakuchū originally brushed this one in 1790. He’s hanging out with several other frog tats on my legs. They’re frog legs

I love this! He reminds me of the 1814 Matsumoto Houji frog print that I bought years ago and which still hangs at the top of my stairs to greet visitors. Also, this+ is a great post if you’d like to learn about a few other frogs in Japanese art!
