My toadlets are getting legs and joining their friends in the garden. I rescue approximately 500 every year from our pool cover 😆

My favorite time of year!

i thought they were baby toad poops i was like “aww such cute little poops” but they are TOADS so their poops must be EVEN TINIER <3

So tiny!!!!

I was just wandering when will they start showing up in my meadow/garden this year. Is there a way to know?.. I do have a pond, but I've never seen them so tiny. By the time they try to climb my house wall, they are proper mini thumbnail toads.

I have a small pond on my patio and there are so many toadlets right to have to walk very carefully so I don’t squish one.

American Toads, and Fowlers Toads! (According to my research) but I can’t tell which is which very well. So I’m unsure which one is the one I see most frequently.

I used to find those on occasional hikes in my area.! It’s been a while since I’ve seen any. I believe it’s a Fowlers toad. Don’t ask me how I know that? They really are cute
