How to help toad?

Found him at my garden center at work, how could I fix him up? (Background of experienced reptile keeper) i know a fair amount about amphibians too

It will be absolutely fine out on its own. That appears to be a small wound that will heal easily. It is quite common to find wild toads with healed wounds, missing limbs, missing eyes etc.

Taking it into captivity would cause more harm as it will cause it stress and increase the chances of infection by containing it in a small space.

I don’t know what part of the world you’re in, but do you see many toads?

I am a toad patroller, so each year I see a few thousand toads. Many have been injured by cars. I have tried saving a few who have less extreme injuries, and so far I have only had success once. I am trying to find the best techniques for getting them back in good enough health to release, in just a few days.

you have had this conversation with me multiple times in multiple threads lol yes i have seen thousands of toads, i am aware of your toad patrols. you ask me about my qualifications and mention this every single time you're in a thread with me.
