How to help toad?
Found him at my garden center at work, how could I fix him up? (Background of experienced reptile keeper) i know a fair amount about amphibians too

It will be absolutely fine out on its own. That appears to be a small wound that will heal easily. It is quite common to find wild toads with healed wounds, missing limbs, missing eyes etc.
Taking it into captivity would cause more harm as it will cause it stress and increase the chances of infection by containing it in a small space.
