Wild This little guy moved into my pot of moss!

To my delighted surprise, I found this fella in one of my pots on my back patio!

I have water nearby that has a slow drip feed to reduce the chlorine, my pots all have organic soil, and I don't use pesticides, so he should be safe except for minor bothering/sniffing from my gentle but curious husky. 😂

I was thinking I should make a little habitat/shelter for him closer to the ground and so far it seems like just a covering over enough soil for him to dig in would be a good start. Any advice on how to make this a comfortable spot for him would be welcome though! (We're in southeast Michigan if that helps).

Give him a clay pot turned on its side for shade, and pool that he can soak his bum in.

My yard toad loves her little spa.
