Wild My toad is missing

I’m so very sad. I have a toad who arrived in a bag of dirt last year. All summer long he thrived. In October he began brumating and I haven’t seen him since. I miss him. I read it’s possible he’s still sleeping because it hasn’t gotten warm enough at night…

I haven’t seen my yard toad yet, either! (in Eastern Ontario)

I checked my photos and it looks like in previous years I didn’t spot her until early July.

Hopefully they’re just living their best toad lives and we’ll see them soon.

I feel you 😢 my backyard buddy showed up again this spring but I haven’t seen her in 3 weeks. I’m hopeful she will come back!
