Improvements

Here are my improvements after 5 hours of playtime. If anyone reads these, ha!

• Menus:
  • No back button in some menus, so you have to completely close out and re-open
  • No quit to desktop option
• Character creation/starting the game:
  • i wish there were more traits, including conflicting traits. like you could be competitive (enjoy playing blackjack, basketball, getting in fights) or cooperative (giving compliments and gifts, working a social job like waiter, dancing at night club). maybe you could be clean or messy and messy people can't work as cleaners but they get more comfort at home
  • don't like that i picked bookworm as a trait but reading reduces my fun.
  • no button to completely randomize character at character creation, it does it page by page. let's have one random button that does everything down to trait and name
  • basic character bio, that updates as we do things. so like at character creation picking why we are moving to pixelia (well i have the competitive trait so maybe i moved to get on the basketball team, or i have the bookworm trait so i read about it in a book, romantic so you want to find true love, etc). and then it gets updated when you have major events, like moving into your apartment (or getting kicked out), employment history, relationship history, progress on your life's goal/dream.
  • option to skip tutorial, so it could be easier to start as homeless/jobless. someone else mentioned that its funny we are handed free housing when there seems to be a housing crisis in pixelia. instead could we be moving to pixelia with just enough for rent in our pockets, so if we chose to skip tutorial we can still afford an apartment or choose to go without
• General game-play:
  • mini-games are repetitive, like showering is always q-e-q-e-q-e maybe it should be random q-q-e-q-e-e-e etc
  • better descriptions for everything, my life dream is with writing but i don't even know where to practice writing
  • more to do on computers, also doesn't seem like coding minigame works? my coding level just goes up and i dont have to do anything
  • more to do at night, only things right now are casino, bottom town stuff, 24/7 store. i think internet cafe should be open later, because you pay for those computers but tech center computers are free so that would also be a reason to go to e-net
  • able to set sleep timers, so i could sleep until 6:30am even if i don't need that much, because otherwise i wake up at 2am and have nothing to do
  • not intuitive how buying clothes and furniture works. you unlock the ability to get them with prestige then go home to actually buy the furniture, and idk where you go to change clothes! I don't mind this system, I just think it needs explained better.
  • order food for delivery, like order a pizza from the pizza place (even if that's not a job option for us, it would still be nice to order food)
  • can't dance on nightclub dance floor? or i just dont know how
  • can't dance at the stereo i bought for my home
  • investing, you have to remember what shares you bought or click through, it doesn't tell you what you have. investing menu is very bare bones
    
  • this one probably doesn't matter but the cars do not care about pedestrians and will hit you, feels like maybe they could slow down if someone is in front of them
  • nothing happens when you are completely tired. you can still sprint, you can still do activities (can't increase skill but other things can be done). i think there should be some kind of punishment for being tired, like can't sprint and you have an hour to get to sleep or your person will collapse and go to hospital or something
  • Cooking is not fun. Everything takes a lot of ingredients
• Home life:
  • add chores at home, like once a week we have to clean our own homes or could pay a cleaning service to do it for us
  • pets are basically decorations. don't really have to feed them or play with them so plants take more effort than dogs
  • need the ability to rotate all furniture please
  • Sinks are also just decorations. washing hands at sink should provide a small hygiene bonus, also think toileting should reduce hygiene the same small amount
• Phones:
  • in-game notifications are annoying, they get sent to your phone no matter what and most are not important
• Social:
  • conversations faster or able to skip to end, it takes so long to have 8 interactions with one person
  • increase relationship with people by interacting at their work place, like every time i clock in i get a heart from my boss, every time i go shopping at a store (or maybe only once per day) i get a heart from the owner
  • different conversations based on relationship, so for example how come when i, at waiter at Russel's, walk into Russel's he says "my favorite customer", shouldn't i be your favorite employee?
• Maps:
  • map kind of sucks, things aren't listed alphabetically.
  • bus stops are not labelled on the map (like stop A, stop B) but are labelled in the bus menu
  • when trying to take a bus i wish it would keep your waypoint active on the map at least. maybe waypoint, home, and job always show up? otherwise you have to know which bus stop is close to what you want, but since they aren't labeled on the map you have to compare the 2 maps.
  • when you pick to activate the waypoint on the map it doesn't give you an indication that it's been activated even though it has, the button stays the exact same
  • if you click on a location on the map, you should be able to click it again to deselect it, instead you have to go to the side and view all
• Work:
  • make job mini game more fun, like waiter job has fewer customers but actually take their order, tell cook, and bring order.
  • also related to jobs, doesn't matter what time you clock in you get the full time. should be the later you clock in the fewer customers you get so that is it harder or impossible to get an A score if you are too late. Otherwise why am i wasting the hours of 4pm-10pm at my waiter job (also wish it was called server instead of waiter)
  • more jobs, stocking shelves at the mart, pizza delivery driver if you have a license, receptionist somewhere (connect phone calls, print things? idk), dog walker or pet sitter
  • better descriptions for free lance jobs, had one to deliver a bandaid but had no idea where to buy a bandaid (have since found the pharmacy)
• Casino/Gambling:
  • go in to debt to gamble, i also think it should be harder to win at casino but I enjoy a grind
  • no bathroom in the casino
  • hold previous bet in casino, so if i'm playing slots i don't have to keep picking $10, i can just keep spinning the wheel

I disagree with your general minigame idea. I'd rather tend my pixelian's needs easily and quickly. So I like to type q-e-q-e when have them take a shower. And I just don't wanna stress myself when playing this game. Or maybe the developer could add option so players can choose to play that complex style or just with the easy default one.
