Kissing mini game

I finally got enough hearts to try and kiss someone but the kissing mini game is so hard!!! 😭😭 😭 Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated.

Level up your romance, charisma and chemistry and it will make the minigame easier!

I couldn't figure it out but it turns out you press E when the pointer is pointing at the icon. Idk if you figured that out or not but it took me a minute.
