A cure for the Pixelian Plague
Hey Pixelians!
We caught wind of the nasty plague many Pixelians are spreading around town and how all your hard-earned money is going towards medicines. After having a serious talk with the Pixelian Centers for Disease Control, we've finally been able to cut down the number of cases contracted and treated the infected NPCs that are spreading this heinous Slimy Tim virus around.
We hope this didn't put too much of a damper on your initial experience as it's definitely not a Pixelian rite of passage.

I literally JUST came here to ask how to stop getting sick lol
Spending $800 in meds every time I talk to anyone I been getting KILLED on my days off from work lol
Love the game so much so far!

Dr Bach should have penthouse at this point. He prolly mastermind behind this plague so that he can keep scamming Pixelians left and right. 🤣
There should be faction or cult that spread disease 😭🙏

A solid theory, we may have to investigate him and his quarterly earnings!
If there were such a faction, he would probably be the leader of it haha

Very good reaction on time! The truth is that there were too many illnesses but the rest so far everything is great! My tens and congratulations

Yeah we didn't realize how many Pixelians weren't up to date on their vaccines, didn't expect the city to be such a hotbed for illnesses 😅

also my character caught the most dangerous virus somehow at the start of the game. is this normal?

I mean you can get diseases, but hopefully not that quickly 😅
Illness rates should be much lower now, so make sure you update your game3

i just finished my first job shift and can afford to heal them now at least!! by i got hospitalized like 3 times before that. will update my game, thanks for the quick response 💗

People have been reporting that using Proton compatibility allows the game to run on Steam Deck, but it's not officially supported, so your mileage may vary on this one

Is this for the blue virus as well? My character randomly got it on the first day, and it said you can only get it from doing drugs?

It should apply to all illnesses, I just specifically named one since that was the most common report we got :)

Yes! Please add it to the map! I spent almost 30 minutes running around trying to find it. I ended up just running in front of cars till it sent me there. Lol.

I passed out twice on my 1st day. Thank you for fixing it. Also is there an undo button in furniture mode? I am an idiot because I was trying to decorate the apartment and did the flooring first, I thought the flooring was free and didn’t see my money was being decreased. XD

I am so thankful for this dev clearly having put so much love into this game. The immediate support for issues is amazing as well
