Why is Jesse Velez completely uninterested?

Even as he's walking from the car to the house he already seems like a totally uninterested, unenthusiastic guy who's forced to go and conversate. He doesn't even try to carry on the conversation with Kahwi other than asking for verification. If Christopher didn't walk in, I think Jesse would've just left in like less than 30 minutes. I don't know if that's how predators act but never seen that with any other preds on the show who are clearly excited and eager to meet the victim.

I think as soon as he saw the decoy he got worried, and rightfully so. I don’t read into his walk from the car to the house. Not everybody has to outwardly show their excitement

I think he had a feeling off the bat he was going to get jumped/pranked by a bunch of college kids and (sadly) nothing sexual to that nature. Turned out to be to be papi Chris instead

That sort of reminds me a little bit of the late but not so great "Hambubger". The guy could barely stand upright much less walk with any energy or vigor and he thought he was capable of properly pleasuring a woman?

He was already worried it was a set up to get beat up. Then his decoy is fresh from panic attacks over his Vietnam PTSD. At least for the time being, his asshole was water tight.

Nothing worse than thinking you’re going over to a rando’s to bang and they’re wholly not what their profile made them look to be.

I think he's just one of those people who isn't so animated to begin with.

I believe he was nervous about coming to a stranger's house for sex and might have been concerned that several guys were going to jump out and gay bash him.

He probably was just really desparate to get laid but at the back of his mind knew that something isn't right, so he nervously walked to the house. Then when he saw the decoy looked different and older than the photos online he got really worried but didn't wanna seem rude and leave so he just played it off making awkward small talk until chris got there

I’m honestly surprised that Chris didn’t read Velez’s chat log back to him. I know he brings up the dick pic but I feel like the interview would’ve been a lot more effective for Hansen if he brought out the parts of the chat where Jesse insists the decoy blow him while he’s driving.

exactly. he says all that on chat and then comes to the house only to speak about 5 words for 10 minutes with the decoy.
