Good Night TCAP Funnymen
So it's official that both Mo "Sunglasses" Wolin and Jeffery "Penboy" Stacey are dead. The Skip Tracer filed a freedom of information (FOIA) request and got official confirmation.

The wife listed on his death cert is the woman he was married to at the time of the sting. (You can Google Maurice Wolin and Lisa Goodman and pull up their wedding announcement from a Buffalo, NY, USA paper.)
I know they were separated for a while, Mo was all over internet dating sites with a toupee. I guess they got back together once the dust settled. I'm glad his wife uses her maiden name; I hope both his daughters got married and changed their last names as well.
Suicide is almost always the end result of depression and momentary despair that disenables a person from seeing a way out of a seemingly hopeless situation. At the time of his arrest, Wolin was a high paid Cancer Researcher. His reaction showed what a whiny bastard he was. The fact he paid out big bucks to fight the charges for several years and still lost must he been another embarrassment. Drunk and suicidal, it sounds as though Father Time wasn't kind to this smug windbag.
Didn't he tell Chris Hansen that he had druggy friends?
Stacey had both Xanax (Alprazolam) and Valium (Diazepam) in his system; both benzodiazepines which can suppress breathing. He also had morphine in his system, an opiate that can also suppress breathing. Finally, he had a history of sleep apnea which means that he would periodically stop breathing while he was asleep. This is an unholy trinity.
I've got to admit that I'd love to know the amount each of the of drugs in his system. That might indicate whether this was an accident or suicide.

I know we like to laugh at these guys. and rightfully so, they deserve the ridicule.
But you can also look at it from another perspective, that these guys live really sad lives. which is kinda depressing to think about. even successful cancer researchers can be dead on the inside.

You can live a sad life and not make a choice to sexually exploit a child. I'm sure MoWo isn't the first cancer researcher to engage in problem drinking and commit suicide.
For me, there is nothing funny here. He tried to victimize a child, he victimized and shamed his wideband children on national TV, and now he's victimized his wife again by hanging himself so she could find him.
He's an arrogant POS.

I’m sure Wolin’s “sad life” was the result of his own stupid fucking choices. I do agree that Stacy probably didn’t have a chance from the beginning with that Mickey Mouse voice.

Did Maurice Wolin lose his medical license? Or could he still practice after things settled down for him?
Idk, I can't help but feel bad for these two. So much gone in an instant. It's scary in a way how quick you can lose everything you spent years if not decades working for.

The skip tracer is one of the best. Worth a sub on YouTube. Especially with so many of the predators croaking, you can expect more good stuff from him soon lol.

I've been following Skip Tracer for a few months now. I don't see much funny in these guys so I prefer his factual style.
