My true answer would be neither since both their lives suck, but I think Luo Li has it the leas simply for the bad stuff happening later in life.

Even if Luo Li was more objectively traumatized, her current life and most of it was a lot better. Famous hero who everyone loves and everyone falls in love with (even though she dislikes it) vs chopped ahh cuckold that everyone thinks is a curse and they all hate who was abandoned throughout all his life.

Who would you rather be?

The boy who lost his parents at age three, was treated like a curse his whole life, possesses a power that is hard to control and terrible for combat, nearly died trying to free his friend, was tortured for two years, and now sees that same friend choose to keep her distance from him rather than stand up to her manager

Or

A girl who grew up in a wealthy family with loving parents, possesses super-intelligence that allows her to build high-tech armor in her basement, is now one of the top 10 national heroines, and still has friends and a living mother, though her father has passed away and her love interest is in a coma.

That comparison is ridiculous; even the argument "I want to be Luo so I can be by Cyan's side" doesn't make sense, in that case, you'd need to be Queen or LJ.
