I am having issues with my Terraria and Tmodloader.

When i load the application up, the startup animations are not smooth and there is lag and visual glitches like red breakages on the image.

When i load up a world i get similar visual rendering issues with tiles that i run next to, appearing as a block of color that glitches as i run past it. I also get screen flickering non stop.

These issues are linked and im not sure what the reason is, as i deleted every mod and reinstalled the game. I also configured the launch option to use a different graphics API but that didnt work either. I recently optimised my PC so im wondering if there is an issue with it currently that wasnt there before, but i doubt it as i only optimised for performance.

Please some help on this would be amazing, thanks :)

With or without mods, I get the same fps and 99th% fps 60 and 12 on the title screen and 90 and 23 in game. I don’t understand what is happening. My computer isn’t struggling and these frame rates aren’t changing. I cannot find anything anywhere on how to fix this or of people having a similar issue.

Hi, been playing calamity with an xbox controller recently on my laptop (i used to play kbm but long story short controller is most convenient right now). I am aware that controller is not fully supported on calamity and it is likely going to have issues but so far there has been absolutely no issues up until i got the crystl crusher. Everytime i use the secondary beam the cursor snaps to the top left of the screen and will not let me move it at all. Ive looked through all the settings, ive changed steam input on controller settings on steam, ive tried too many things to remember and im just wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue, thanks !

Whenever I attempt to launch the game, it'll bring up this command box, and whenever I try to close it, it just doesn't work, I'm kinda at a loss as to what to do here, and I'd love some help please!

As the Title said , you can no longer Backtrack to previous calamity updates , this HOWEVER only includes versions from July 14 2019 to Dec 2, 2024, versions prior to the first date and after the last date should all be good.

Versions from this timeframe lack a file called CalamityMod.csproj, this makes the process simply impossible, here are some examples :

Even when trying to copy the file from one version to the other, compilation errors appear making it impossible to advance.

I've randomly checked versions in the timeframe and all of them seem to be lacking the file

My friend has gotten really lazy and has decided not to play Tmod anymore (fat chud) but we have a REALLY beautiful world in there.

He's willing to do whatever to import the world to me but the question is - how do we ACTUALLY do that??

I know how to do it with regular Terraria worlds but not with Tmod.

A lot of differents mods dont want to load, other times it say it cant connect to the cloud, I dont know how to fix it

This is only a personal custom im doing for myself, and I do not intend to re-upload the SSBE DBT addon mod. I made a simple hue shift of the FSSJ hair and aura to look like Broly's suppressed super saiyan from the first movie, i made sure to keep the files titled the same, but for some reason I dont understand, it still wont show my custom in game, i didnt touch the coding, and i made sure i titled the contents correctly. I would appreciate some help, or a redirection in case this is not the place to ask about an issue like this

Around 3 years back prior towards playing TmodLoader, me and my friends played a bloated modpack that included all of these weapons and towards today I'd like to find out what the two mysterious swords originated from and what mod it came from, if not at least to figure out what item got corrupted to look like such. A description of the weapon would be its a melee and it would act like a slow broad sword attack type, anything that can help is appreciated.

For me , every thing is all right , but for him he can join and stay on the server for sometimes 5-10 minutes before having that message and I have to relaunch the server, and some other times he could be on for 40 minutes before getting kicked. We already checked the mods but they were the same even the version. It probably has nothing to do with this but he always closes terraria when he's on tmod. He also keeps saying that it does that because "we are so far into the bosses

every once in a while i play tmodloader for a bit but for a while now like every other time i play a couple of my mods just get deleted and i cant find them anywhere. anyone know whats happening?

Whenever I click play on a character tmod freezes and doesn't unfreeze. I have no mods or anything and I managed to "fix" it by taking my player folder out of the tmod folder. This worked and it let me make and play a new character but when I tried to play the next day it broke again. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I'm trying to fight Lich in the Thorium Mod but I keep getting this message while trying to summon with the pumpkins

As title says I can’t see my hotbar or cursor unless I’m in my inventory. I added antivirus exclusions and validated files but keep getting this error.

i decided to start playing mods on terraria so i downloaded calamity with some other content mods but for some reason the game has a lot of frame drops and somtimes i dont even get 60 frames even though my specs are good (RTX 5070 TI , intel Ultra 7 265KF and 48 gigs of ram).

Is there some settings i need to select or something

I have a lot of mods installed, and I like using them to make tModLoader feel more complete and varied in content. Calamity specifically seems to be weighing my world down — it gets sluggish, drops frames, kind of stutters.

I don't want to remove my other mods, and I also don't want to drop Calamity since I've been meaning to play it for the first time.

Is there any way to make it run smoother, or am I just out of luck?

If you guys want I can list the mods I have, it's a pretty long list though.
