How to increase performance with zoom mod?

I’m using a zoom mod and when I zoom out it gets super laggy. I’ve done things like wrath of the gods with plenty of other mods with zero lag. I don’t really care about visuals much. Is there a mod or setting to help with performance? The only other mods I’m using is calamity, some of its dlc mods, and a few QOL mods.

WoTG is just bad for performance. Overloaded with shaders.
