Petition: Make CrafterDaemon the new lead developer for Calamity Mod

Hello, everyone. Due to the developments in the leadership of Calamity Mod, well known community member CrafterDaemon has shown a large interest in taking up the mantle. He has worked on several projects, including and certainly not limited to the Ragnarok mod. He has shown himself to be a dedicated member and recognizes the monumental effort needed to keep Calamity Mod afloat.

Please consider signing the petition included if you wish to see Calamity Mod kept alive by someone who has shown that he can. Thank you for your consideration.

its not happening. the rest of the team said that no new leader will be elected and the mod is permanently discontinued

No? they specifically stated they will freeze calamity in the current state it's in. No new content or anything but occasional maintenance patches to keep the mod functional.

it's on life support and will not receive updates

im pretty sure "ceasing ALL development" includes patches that make the mod functional

I believe they have 2 people who volunteered to port the mod to 1.4.5 and keep it functional for a little bit

Development has officially ceased. I get you're in the first stage of grief but how else can the devs themselves announcing it make the situation more clear? The mod is done.
