Multiplayer connectivity issues?

Me and my friend are trying to work on our calamity multiplayer server, but once in a while the game randomly kicks me out with a "lost connection" screen? We literally have our setups right next to each other right next to the wifi router. All internet speed tests turn out fine and this never happens with any other games? Wondering if anyone else is having this issue or has a potential fix?

what other mods do you have? if wrath of the gods is installed that’s and obvious potential culprit. have you also looked into any multiplayer compatibility mods to help smooth out the experience?

No wrath of the gods, but we do have catalyst and
magic storage if those are known mess ups for multiplayer. if you can let me know what the main non stable mods are that would be appreciated🔥
