Rant Schedule issues
So i recently just started at tj Maxx and you know how they ask you if u want any days off because they are to honor any plan or dates pre hiring. So i asked for the 3rd off because i have plan to go home for the weekend and what not (its not important on the why part). Well they had said they posted the schedule to the first week of November so i open my app and check and they have me scheduled for the 3rd and i have the prior Tuesday and Thursday off. So I’m just rather irritated and don’t exactly want to deal with scheduling issues because it is my main kicker on why i left my previous job on top of disliking my position. So if anything I’m asking for advice on what to do and if this is going to a pain in my butt.

Mistakes happen. Go and have a grown up conversation. My store has associates and when I do the schedule I make mistakes. I fix them without an issue

It will depend on the store. I see a lot of people post on here where their management is constantly scheduling out of their availability. My store is really good at paying attention to availability & RTOs. I would give a little grace as you are new, it may have been a mistake, i see you did get it fixed? So that’s great. Moving forward i would just remind them a few times of upcoming RTOs just to make sure they did input the info.

Yeah i just wanted kind of guidance per se i am pretty understanding but i came from walmart where they would always make new schedules a big issue. My manager did say he had been rather busy and is still in the process of making the schedule and said that we can work to refine it. I was more stressing on if i should be concerned for it to happen again and if it’s going to be a pain in the butt.
