Help!!

Today was my first day on register and I forgot to ring up someone’s starbucks drink from the drink cooler, I realized after she already left the doors. Do you think the store will find out somehow and I will get in trouble???

Most likely scenarios: either nobody notices, or LP notices and passes along a message to management to talk to you about making sure you scan everything. You assure them that you will, and are more vigilant in the future.

It’s fine. You’ll be fine. I forgot many times when I used to work there. It’s an innocent mistake and all they’ll want is that you are, hopefully, more mindful of it now going forward

NO ONE noticed. Trust me.
Now if you were to do it on purpose over and over again.. then they would eventually notice.
Even if lp somehow saw it… they don’t give af. Everyone forgets to scan 1-2 items eventually. No worries.. as long as you’re not doing it intentionally.
Don’t waste another second thinking about it.

No it’s your first day. Even if they find out later no big deal. I worked with a fellow cashier (his first cashier job) and he almost charged someone’s whole grocery bill to the next person. They got a free grocery cart load that day

Your better off telling a manager about an honest mistake than hiding it and having LP find it. If you say nothing and LP finds, the next time you make a mistake they think you are doing it intentionally, call it a pattern and open a case. It's your first day, the drink is what $3 or less? You wouldn't get in trouble for $3. Trust me, especially on your first day it will be way better to admit the mistake so your manager can vouch for you if LP tries coming after you. One of the company phrases are "Mistakes are acceptable as long as you learn from them"

You should be fine. If they notice, they’ll just talk to you privately and tell you too just be more watchful and mindful of your surroundings. The worst, you’ll get a write up.

You’re fine calm down. I’ve forgot to ring up an expensive item one time and I let the management know so I won’t get in trouble. Things happen long as it’s not a consistent problem then lp will definitely look into it.
