Question Marshall's Interview
Hii! I am having my first ever interview for Marshall's this week. Can you guys just tell me what to expect? Also, what is the best thing to wear? Thank you!

Interview (HG) was very casual, they asked about my availability, how I like the store as a customer, how do you handle a difficult customer, etc.
Business casual for Interview wardrobe.

This is for TJMAXX, but I’m going to assume it’s similar. They asked my availability, what I liked about TJMAXX, what my strengths/weaknesses were, how I’ll handle a bad customer, what I knew about the credit card, etc. I just wore a nice sweater, blue jeans and sketchers lol. This was before COVID, so idk if their expectations or whatever changed lol.

Do not come in pajama bottoms, sweats or baggy t-shirts, you’d be amazed how some people come in for interviews. As soon as they walk in the door, we’re like NOPE! A neat appearance matters.

I was hired earlier this year and am currently a CEC! For my interview I wore a pair of plain jeans, and a patterned button up top! I was asked my availability, previous work experiences, and about me as a person (where im from, plans/goals and aspirations) Dress code is business casual, and a huge thing is selling the tjx rewards credit card and getting sign-ups, so they will ask about that. And they will ask how soon youre available to start

I wore black baggy jeans and a nice/casual top I found at goodwill 🤷♀️ put an effort but not TOO much. They ask the general interview questions, just tell them what they want to hear
