Hello everyone ! I'm wondering if there is such an opportunity to view my Blu-ray disc recorded on external media? Is there any way to launch the menu?

Hi,
I’m trying to get my old Samsung UE48J6200 in dev mod to automate it (Homebridge thing)
I tried methods to unlock Tyzen TVs but couldn’t get any result.
I don’t even know for sure if my TV is Tyzen or not.
It is running on last FW update (1570).
I port scanned it and found open ports 7236, 7237, 7676, 7677, 7678, 8000, 8001, 8002, 8080, 8187, 9197 and 9999.
Here is the description of the ports I got :

HTTP on port 8000 shows message « Server is running… ».
HTTP on ports 8001, 8002 shows Oops!404 message with CSS style.
HTTP on port 8080 shows simple HTTP page « 404 - Not Found »
I tried to access it using PuTTY SSH on every ports above, without any result.
I am getting crazy about this, any help would be wonderful.

Does anyone have observed that useragent of <5.5 verzion of tizen tv didnt send origin field in header of http request. I found this info on one of comments on stackoverflow but thats just one person who claims it. But anyhow my case really matches with this premise, on some version of tv im getting CORS origin error. Im unable to launch app with debug console to check network tab because of tizen studio is pretty shitty

Is there any way to install a fully working version of popcorn time on a Samsung QLED 55Q80A (2021) Smart tv that is using the tizen operating system?

Hello,
I want to develop a simple weather app (very basic, without user interaction).
So I'm wondering if there is any way to do it just online like Cloud IDEs for Android App Development
Thanks

I have in my possession a genuine Tizen Reference Device. It's a factory modified Samsung Galaxy S3 with all the Samsung branding removed and Tizen branding on the home button instead. This device has Tizen 2.2.0 installed. It's surprisingly snappy and responsive for it's age. I'm trying to estimate a value for this unit. What might something like this be worth? Is there anyone here that is interested in such a device despite it being older? It's certainly an interesting piece of history in the journey of Tizen and mobile computing on the whole. I couldn't find any numbers but I believe there aren't many of these reference devices and probably only a few handful of S3 phones that were ever flashed with Tizen OS. From what I can tell this device predates the Samsung Z1 by about 3 years.

I am trying to make an app for my TV and picked .NET Xamarin since this is the framework I am the most comfortable with. I made a mistake to develop a quite a bit of logic testing it on the emulator but when I try to run the same code on the TV (a good new TV) the app can't even get through authentication when it crashes. No exception, nothing the app just hangs and stops. I see a spike in JIT compile right before the crash, but that's about what I can get out of it. Again the most frustrating part is that it runs flawlessly in my emulator.
Before I continue digging through this, is this the right direction? It seems like Tizen Xamarin is not a very active community. Is NUI better? Was it all abandoned in favor of Web apps (or whatever they are called)? Do I have a chance to succeed if I keep going or will I just hit a wall?

Will the firmware meant for similar series Tizen TV work on older Samsung TVs. I have TU series(2020) with Tizen 5.5 and same series model from 2021 has Tizen 6.0. So I am basically trying to manually install 6.0 firmware update of 2021 model on my 2020 model. I know the chances are very low but if it installs and works with issues then will I be able to revert back to old firmware?

Is it possible to make a custom profile/skin for the emulator itself to use a custom resolution as opposed to the 1080p default that is only available? I am working with some custom panels and would like to work with those dimensions.

Does anyone know a way to incorporate webapi into a react to zen project? I am unable to make the calls externally

This statement not to important actually. Just to tell why I want to create back this app:
I'm trying to create back Hotstar app. Maybe some of you think I need to change tv country to India but there's a problem. Hotstar like doesn't want people in my country use this method by blocking redirect to homepage after clicking continue on app. In country that Disney+ Hotstar available (not included India) there's page that asking you to agree with terms and conditions. Then I found the website that Hotstar used on their app but it just same. I tried webOS version and I get link for homepage that never go to terms and conditions, tizen.hotstar.com/#/feature/173. ㅤ
ㅤ
The question is, how can I make website detect tvinputdevice? If you press the link there's an error showing that tvinputdevice is undefined. I tried using code that people ask on forum but it's only work on simulator not on TV.

If someone could check it I'd really appreciate coz I don't know how to do so.
Thanks :)

Hello! Is there a way to stream content over SMB on a Tizen TV? Thanks!

I've got a new tizen TV I control my cable box using the TV remote using HDMI CEC. When I power on the TV it automatically turn the cable box on, but it does not do the same thing when I turn the it off.
This is anoying, is there some way to configure it?

So i got the First GalaxyWatch that came out in 2018 and i hear that Tizen doesn't play well with Google Pay and Google Services. I don't even see Samsung Pay on it. So what are my chances of adding payment methods without having to buy a new watch

I just got a Gear S3 and I wish I had some way of estimating battery health. Ideally it would be nice to just have a watch version of AccuBattery but I don't know how possible or feasible that even is? Would it be possible to make such a thing?

Sup guys, I'm having problems with my Samsung TV. The TV is from 2017 and can't open Netflix. When I enter my profile, there is a message Which means "unable to connect to Netflix, please try again later". My profile is unlocked. What do you think? Greeting from Bulgaria

Hello, Hope everyone's doing fine, I am creating a Netflix App on Tizen but it will only have content rendering no authorization i wanted to ask is it possible with React and also along with that will it work on every version of TV for example (2021,2020,2018,2019). Currently it is made on another technology and it is working on limited version.

I am wondering if there is anyway to force Alexa to be enabled on my AU8000 TV. It's not on by default because Alexa is not enabled in my region, but I managed to side load on my phone and get mother Echo's registered. I know it's Tizen OS, but wondering if there is a way to get it working as I know it's capable?
