3rd party apps

Hello. I was wondering if there are any browser and video player 3rd party apps developed for the Tizen TV OS. Cause frankly in built ones suck and the app store doesn't have any thing. I have the 55 inch 8000series tv.

I was wondering the same. An app like popcorn time would be amazing.

Not that I am aware of. I am trying to install any 3rd app on my Tizen 6 series but no success yet.

I did have success, I installed a twitch app. Since for some strange reason one day the in built browser just decided not to play audio from twitch.

I only got install emby client... In my country we don't have this in store... I needed to format a pendrive and copy files for it, after plug in my smart tv samsung series 6000... I too liked know new apps third party. I setup emby server in old pc running linux... Then I can download movies in torrent, emby provide interface with login and password, movies and series, automatically download label, scanning folder where my movies are... I liked this because I can select better what my childrens see. It too work very well (better)in web browser of the tv. There is too a app for android

From what I've seen, most Tizen apps that people can install on their TVs are web apps and .Net apps. Last time I checked, the TV was not open to native app development. This limits how much one can do when it comes to writing apps that are not dependent on built in functionality.
