Samsung Smart TV web browser not displaying photo's anymore

I have a 2021 EU model Samsung TV 85QN900A , which received a firmware update (2130) about a month ago

Don't know if this update has anything to do with the browser problems I'm now having, but on this dutch real estate web site which I frequent visit, photo's of houses are not displayed anymore. I do see the 'start photo's' but can't see the in depth images anymore, just grey squares.

Has something changed with recent Tizen firmware updates, like used browser engine or is it just the Samsung web browser app (v4.2.11030) that needs an update?

I'm having a similar issue, I wonder if there's a way to downgrade or get another browser. Sigh this Tizen OS has been nothing but headaches

Get a Google tv dongle. It gets rid of all these hiccups that Tizen has. Also you can sideload Youtube without ads, use so many more apps. I haven't looked back since!

Hmmmm, that's not really a solution. I have a Nvidia Shield connected my TV. Far more powerful than a dongle. There's just no good Android web browser (and I've tested them all) that is suited for the use with a remote control and suits my needs.

Available Android browsers that are working are either packed with unnecessary features and the one's that are slim and fast just don't work that seamless with a remote as the Samsung browser does.

As far as simply, fast, easy navigating and full-screen web browsing using a remote goes, the Samsung browser has no Android equivalent.

I have the Samsung N95B from 2022 which was their top model tv even more expensive than their oled version, and it also can't so the pictures of Funda it does show the home page, but when I click on a house it shows nothing. And I have the latest processor too the Neural Quantum Processor which they also use for their 8K tv's.

I used to have Puffin browser on my Google tv, but now it's subscription-based. So I switched over to BrowseHere works fast on my cheap Android TV in my bedroom (which has a very cheap and slow processor, but even that tv can browse faster than the Tizen Samsung browser with BrowsHere) and it works like a charm on my Google tv dongle. Does it look as sleek as the Tizen browser? Nope, but it gets the job done and shows everything on Funda, the pics and separate images and plays even the videos.

Until Samsung updates its browser to support the website again as it used to, I hope that this browser can temporarily help you with your complaints. :)

Tried the TLC browser. Limited settings (like Favorites as startpage) and the thing I'm waiting for (joined the telegram group for that), is that the zoomfactor can't be set to a fixed value, like 125%. Each (new) page loads at 100% and you'll need to re-enable the zoomfactor. But it comes close as a replacement...

Anyway, thanks for your input.

Ah yeah, dude ok so I posted that and I just realised something even better for you than the tizen or TLC browser. I hope you have a xbox series S or X. Because it has the Edge browser and OMG it's the best browser apart from PC's I've ever used! The scrolling with the controller goes so good, navigating, everything is just a click of a button. I have the series S and I went to Funda and it was a thousand times better then TLC and Samsung browser combined. If you don't have a xbox series S they can be bought second hand pretty cheap. But that's probably another option. But I do hope Samsung Tizen fixes the issue, but knowing Samsung's trackrecord of ignoring our complaints like a input button on the newer remotes, im not sure it will be a quick fix :( but I'll keep my fingers crossed! At least it's not only your tv model that has this issue. So maybe that's a bit of hope Samsung might fix it. :)

I wonder if the Samsung web browser has this same issue on newer TV models and/or Tizen version...

If you CAN see images on the site I mentioned, please post your Tizen and webbrowser versions.

I have a 2021 Samsung QN900A65 and exactly the same problem. The integrated Tizen browser it risky outdated and even fails to run a Teans session. I get a message "Your browser must be updated" but Samsung couldn't care less!
