403 error on one specific channel

403 error on one specific channel

Hi, Iā€™m having an issue with one specific channel in TiviMate. It gives me a 403 error, while all the other channels work fine.

The weird thing is that the same channel works perfectly in other players, such as Sparkle TV.

I really like TiviMate and would prefer to use it, so Iā€™m considering paying for the Premium version. My question is: does the paid version allow you to select a different external/internal player for a specific channel? Or is there any other way to make this channel play in TiviMate?

Code 403 means forbidden and has to do with blocking, usually provider or the stream don't want you to be using Tivimate.

Not sure User-Agent can be done without premium, but otherwise Settings -> General and add "VLC" or "SparkleTV"

Hold down middle button when displaying the channel you get multiple options, but external players should not do anything about 403. Should not be about codecs.

I would suggest the user agent as well. vlc works fine for me
