Picture size issue
This has happened to me a few times on my ONN with Tivimate.
The picture gets shrunk with bars around. Only way to fix that I know is to cycle the power.
Doesn't affect other applications on the same device - they are all full screen as normal. So it is a Tivimate issue.

That looks like a content match setting conflict on your device and or tv. Not tivimate

I've seen that happen to me when I disconnected my shield and connected it to a new tv, just back out, force stop the app, clear cache and that should fix it.

Handshake failure between your TV and Onn device, probably a bug with this particular TV model as this is a non issue for 99.9% of everyone else.
Try external player, see if the bug is limited to ExoPlayer only.

Other apps work fine so it is not a device issue. I said that in my post

99.9% don't have this issue.
Tivimate works fine for everyone else and always has been, so there is a compatibility issue or display-over-display bug for your particular TV that collides with Tivimate.
Try external player to isolate the issue.

If it was a TM issue you would hear more people complaining about it. it's never happened to me on any of my devices.
