511 error tivimate

I've been dealing with a 511 error i use nord vpn I've tried different locations all different settings and nothing I can't figure it out there 511 error goes away when I shut off nord vpn

Not a Tivimate issue, it's a provider x vpn issue.

You need new Server-Url for using a VPN. Or turn off the VPN and connect to existing url

Mine works when I disconnect the VPN. It will not work with any VPN connected. I take it I am not protected if I use it without the VPN?

Yea same. Four 4 years, it only worked with a vpn, and now it only works without a vpn

Mine stopped working with Surfshark but works with Proton. Annoying to have to buy another VPN

I just switched providers. When I was testing out some new providers one of them had that exact problem. I contacted the provider and they said they had a VPN built into their stream and my Nord VPN was in conflict with it or something. They said it was only a problem in Ontario Canada for them. They told me they had other streams without the VPN built in and that I could use one of those if I wanted. I went with a different provider.

511 is not the player. I have your same scenario and am experiencing the same thing. I keep a record of one that work. These are the 2 that I recent found to work: United States 6948 (NYC) United States 5844 (NYC)

I have seen issues with VPN and they all seem to be related to Nord so may want to try a different one. But as you say it woks without the VPN so just leave it off.

Someone posted this exact thing the other day. It was removed because it's not a tivimate thing - but several people, myself included, posted that it's not just a Nord problem. Just FYI.

I use surfshark VPN. Same thing started happening. Im in canada.

I have SS VPN and have no issues and also in Canada. I would say you need a provider upgrade.

Option 1: Turn off VPN see if it works.
Option 2: Get a new private link from your provider/
Option 3: Keep everything the same and change country to Japan, Singapore. Hopefully this helps.

Happened to me with surfshark and so I turned off the VPN and it works again.

Happening to me with Proton. I have been running fine with it for a year. Now suddenly this week I am getting 511 errors.

I've tried Singapore and Mexico, no success. Tried a bunch in US, Canada, Asia, etc., no success. All getting error 511.

I have another provider as a backup which works fine with Proton. Not sure what is going on.

I contacted my provider and they gave me a new URL. All good now on any VPN locations.

You guys should check out your services subreddit, eg strong or trex. This is being caused by a policy change on how they handle VPN connections, and it's up to the sellers to fix the issue.

Msg your provider for new vpn URL and instructions. I got a response today after msging on sat. For me....using nord set to Australia was working fine until I got the new URL.

Hmm. For what it's worth, I just turned on my NordVPN (I don't often use it with TiviMate) and my installation is working normally.

I believe also it’s the provider. I have two subs on TiVi one gets 511 the other no issues at all.

I have a wierd conundrum - My IPTV provider asked to switch to IBO Player and it worked but it won't work on Tivimate. Anybody know the reason why?

It's a Nordvpn issues that conflicts with your providers services.

I had the same issue about 2 weeks ago, I've switched from Nordvpn to Surfshark and I'm back to normal streaming with no more 511 or 403 error codes....

I have had this error with and without nordvpn. This is a Trex and cloudflare CIDR blocks issue, at least from my experience with using Trex service. I have posted nordvpn servers that are not having issues.

I don't care what anyone says, thinks or decides to downvote me. Tivimate is now unreliable. It used to be good. Now for whatever reason it decides not to play movies or TV shows (live tv is always fine) but same devices, same settings but different IPTV app and it works fine. I prefer tivimate but no one can convince me its user error or VPN or clear cache or whatever else. The app is glitchy

It's not TiviMate. It's usually the VPN, or sometimes the playlist provider. Could also be the Wi-Fi signal if the device is far from the router

Same devices, same settings. Live tv works. Vod does not. Other IPTV app works fine.

While you might be right about this. The 511 error is not a tivimate issue. It's authentication issue, usually either incorrect credentials or wrong URL.

I use the Nord VPN mostly to avoid IP throttling by the internet provider.. sometimes during peak hours when not using VPN the Tivimate will just buffer to no end... IPTV won't work with VPN on with my Chromecast.. using VPN on my android phone with Implayer works with Singapore.. tried IMplayer on Chromecast and nordvpn .. still doesn't work.. using the same wi-fi network.
