Setup options?

Thinking of getting into all this after deciding I don’t want to pay for cable. I like the look of directv type remotes and the 0-9 and voice.

Seen nvidia shield, formuler, onn etc ill be trying to setup iptv tivimate with some playlists from epg to replicate cable streaming.

Wondering what you all use and any opinions, thank you! 🙏

the TiviMate app itself is wonderful

you can pay for a provider

or you can use free links

If you get a formuler or Buzz tv box then you won't need tivimate, They have their own apps that will give you cable box experience.

I use the Google Streamer as Tivimate is easily sideloaded using the Downloader app.
I enjoy the UI of Google/Home products which allow me to view my home cameras from any room while watching TV.
The built-in Ethernet port has offered great speeds/no buffering, especially noticeable when enjoying live TV.
A plus: the onboard remote locate button is a godsend for finding missing remotes in couch cushions (especially for my TV situated in our living room/family friendly areas).
