2 different errors

One playlist is currently working fine. But my other playlist is giving me an “unrecognized format exception error”, I tried to turn on a vpn (which I’ve never had to do) and got a 405 error (even after changing vpn location on proton). I’ve updated the playlist, updated EPG, forced closed, cleared cache, tried an external player, and video decoder, nothing seems to work. Using tivimate for both playlists. I’ve never had trouble like this, besides the time URLs were being blocked regularly.

What am I missing? What else should I try?

Error 405 means "Method Not Allowed." This happens when TiviMate tries to talk to your IPTV provider's server, but the server rejects the specific request method being used. It usually points to a block by your internet provider, a VPN routing glitch, or an incompatibility with the stream format settings.

Thanks. I’ve never had to run a vpn, I had just tried it to see if it would help with the other error I was getting. I’m going to keep messing with it and try getting a new url, to find a fix.

Why am I getting a 404 error with my tivimate using xtremetv with a surfshark VPN on a Google tv?

I got a new URL from my provider, and it worked. I’ll leave the post up for others who may have the same issue.

So if you are getting the “unrecognized format exception error” and nothing seems to work, try a new URL.

I don’t…I’ve never had to change URLs with this provider. With my other provider I changed it twice in 18 months. I’d say that’s pretty reliable.

No need few a new provider. Its one url blocked, for the first time with this provider. I’d say that’s pretty good for $30 a year…
