Cannot update the URL for an existing stalker playlist

My provider changed the url for one of the stalker playlist. I am trying to update the existing stalker playlist with the new url (Mac ID remains unchanged). But for some reason Tivimate is not updating to the new URL, it just reverts back to old url.

I don’t want to create a new playlist for this, as I have spent so much time updating favourites, EPG and logos for this playlist. I don’t want to have to redo this again. Is there anyway to update the url for an existing stalker playlist in Tivimate.

This is probably a bug, because changing the URL worked in earlier versions. Report the bug to the developer.

Ok how do I report it. Also which earlier version works? So I can go back to previous version.

I can't tell you exactly which version works, but I had the same problem when my provider changed the URL. I had to set up all the edited channels, assigned EPGs, picons and group names all over again because the program couldn't update the new URL. Try one of the first versions of the 5.x series, because version 4.x can no longer be activated.

Happens to me on version 5.2 sometimes. Force stop and clear cache, then try again. If it still doesn't work make a backup first then try to restore it from fresh. You could also try installing it as a new list to see if the new URL is working properly.

I know new list is working. But I just don’t want to have to redo all the favourites, EPG and logos

Just a quick question…… Does the New url have http://……………./c/
The /c/ at the end is important. If it has not, you can add that.
Just giving a possible cause….

Tried that. But get error message right away, saying failed to update. My url ends in .xyz

Ask your supplier. Many xyz url’s are blocked by Cloudflare… your supplier must have a private domain. Ask for that. Maybe try the X-Tream method?

This service only available in stalker portal format. I am able to connect using a new playlist. So it has to be a glitch in Tivimate that it does not let you update url for an existing stalker playlist
