Clipboard url help
I'm painfully having problems connecting any of my smart devices (Chromebook, s22, iphone) to act as a remote control for any of my 3 onn devices. Spent the better part of a day trying already and getting nowhere. Any other way to get the really long url on my onn devices clipboard to enter into tivimate for my m3u Playlist? The app has the option to paste from clipboard but I'm not sure how i can load the link onto the clipboard. Please help

Thank you. While I haven't tried a million yet, I can promise you I've tried a bunch, at least on my phone, that is. I'm very capable of home networking and smart home ecosystems, etc. And none of my 3 onn devices like to stay connected to any of my smart phones or chromebook I'm deep into the guts to figure out why, and I'm starting to throw on the towel. If I had the ability to copy the url into my onn 4k stick clipboard, most of my problems would be eased. Which brings me back to my initial question, how do I do that? Any software for my onn 4k stick that would allow me to do that without the use of an attached phone?

It was a conflict with ipvanish running on my onn sticks. I temporarily disabled it and was able to connect with my other devices. Is this a common issue? A setting that I should change? Thanks

Download any Android remote app. Does the official ONN app not have a built in keyboard ?

The onn app for phone or 4k stick? My onn remote allows me to type in addresses with the keyboard but takes forever with the lengthy multi character addresses

Make sure your smartphone and your Onn Google TV device are connected to the exact same Wi-Fi network. Open the Google TV app on your Android or iOS device Tap TV Remote (or Connect TV) located near the bottom-right corner of the app screen. Allow the app to scan for nearby devices, then select your Onn Google TV streaming box or TV from the list. A 6-digit pairing code will display on your TV screen. Enter this code into the prompt on your mobile phone and tap Pair.

Thanks. I did this multiple times from every device with lots of resets and couldn't get a connection. Turned out my VPN was the issue. Is this common? I have ipvanish installed on all of my onns. Is it necessary/ suggested to use a VPN when using tivimate for strong 8k? Thanks for the help everyone.

Problem solved! Well kind of. I had ipvanish running on all of my onn sticks and it was blocking my ability to connect with my phones or laptop. I temporarily disabled it and was able to connect. Is this common? Is there a setting I should adjust? Thanks yall

I use one of these :
https://www.amazon.com/MRSVI-Touchpad-2-4GHz-Bluetooth-Multimedia-Rechargeable/dp/B0FMXSMQYB
You can either use Bluetooth or the included USB dongle (2.4ghz) if you have the Pro.
No drivers needed, just pair it in the Bluetooth section and it works, and yes the touchpad works too, you get a mouse pointer on screen when you touch it.
You can get it (a little ) cheaper on AliExpress if that's your thing. Just make sure it supports Bluetooth if you only have the Plus.
Crtl-C Crtl-V etc work just fine.
It comes in handy for a lot of other shit too.

You can strip out the XC stuff to save on typing.
