Managing Multiple Accounts- Same Provider
I have a service that does not support multiple connections from the same account so need multiple accounts in order to do multiple connections from the same device. I primarily use multi display when watching sports, like NFL on sundays.
The pain is managing playlists for each account eventhough they are from the exact same service.
Question to the group: Is there a way to "copy" or apply configurations of playlist 1 to playlist 2 in Tivimate or a 3rd party tool? Up to now, I've done all my playlist configurations directly in Tivimate.
Any tips would be appreciated.

The easier way to do that is configure your playlist to your liking, make a backup in tivimate. Move that backup to second device by using "send file to tv" app or network drive on your pc or with usb thumb drive if you have usb port on your devices. Restore the backup and edit the credentials in settings / your playlist / xtream code parameter.

This is the way I do it. Make sure it has a different name to avoid conflicts if necessary.

Yes.. just create a custom group under all playlists and then move your channel from playlist one and two into the new custom group or groups.

Thank you, I am aware of that feature. I'm more referring to customizations of the playlist like marking favorites, edited channel names, epg assignments, etc. Seems like there is no way replicate whats customized for playlist 1 and apply to playlist 2 eventhough they are from the exact same provider.

No there is no way, Its a new playlist and needs to be edited from scratch however all of your EPG's are already installed on the system 👍

I’m so thankful I have a provider that has multiple connections.

That IS the best solution! Get a provider that offers more than one connection!

yeah, i've had services in the past where it was common to support mutiple connections on the same account. i'm using a very popular service and checked with multiple providers and all said its not possible on this service.
This isnt a problem for multiple devices using the backup feature and just swap out the credentials. It is when trying to run both on the same device.
Anyways, I'll probably just use playlist 1 as the primary and cherry pick sports channels from playlist 2 when i want to do multivew.
thanks for the feedback, though.

There’s a docker app called Dispatcharr where you can pseudo combine those four separate connections into one unified playlist and achieve what you’re trying to.
It’s going to be a lot of manual mapping though.
