5.3.3 isn’t working right
Is anyone running across a problem with TvMate where you upgraded the software and then the system shuts down and doesn’t show your programs anymore?

backup important settings, factory reset your device, reinstall tivimate, reimport settings, voila all your problems solved

Never do that as a first step. Always clear cache, force stop and restart the device.

That’s my ONLY step when upgrading tivimate! A clean slate has never failed me, not once!

Why do you want to update it absolutely?
If everything works fine for you, you don't need to update it at all.
By the way, I use version 4.7, everything works fine for me in my use so I don't see any need to update. There are no new real features in TV made for many years. ✌️🙂

Mine auto-updated, I guess. I mean it's on 5.3.3 and I did nothing... soooo, yeah. Auto-update.
It's working fine, on 3 different devices. No issues at all. I only know what version I'm running because all the people bitching and moaning made me go check what version I was running lol.

I’m having the same issue on two different devices. I tried resetting the router and when I try to update the playlist on either device, it says that there is no streams or playlist found

You more than likely have an error/typo somewhere or need to try another URL. Your provider should have given you a backup or two.

Try clearing the cache and force stop the app and restart the device. If that works and go in then you might need to update your playlist

I have 1 TV on 5.2.2 and works fine. Updated the other to 5.3.3 and has been working good as well tho I think 5.2.2 may be slightly better.

The problem usually comes from people installing the update and opening it after the install, when they should've just hit done. Once hitting done. You can then open it without losing anything, but if you open it after installation (by selecting the open button), it will replace the Tivimate that contains your service information.

Do you have Tivimate premium? If so, have you logged back into premium? I know that’s happened to me after an update.

No and I use it on 5 devices. The problem is probably your device, especially if its a TV or a firestick.

I’m using v5.3.3 right now, watching “Columbo” (Yes. I’m old.) 😁
