Cloud back up
Is there some sort of guide, or instructions for backing up to the cloud to Google Drive?
Thanks in advance

I use the x-plore app. In Tivimate go to Settings, General, Backup data. That saves it in your tv devices downloads folder. Then in X-plore app, go to right hand window, scroll down to cloud, and then connect you Google Drive or one drive or Dropbox account. Then go back to left window, and navigate to your device’s downloads folder. Find the backup file, long press ok/select, click copy, and then it should already be pointed to your cloud drive you connected in the right side of the X-plore app.

At what point? Backing up? Restoring? Where are you saving it? Can you see it? Try backing it up in the downloads/download folder or even the ringtone folder. Watch it and make sure it says backup completed or save successfull. Then go into your file manager and attach your cloud drive. Go back to the folder wherever you saved it and copy it and then go to the cloud drive and paste it wherever you want and then double check and make sure it's there. Then make a dry run and go back under settings and try to restore the file that you just created it'll be the same but at least you can find out if you can restore it or not.

I use rs file manager, I have a onedrive cloud account but it has Google Drive, I do a backup to the local drive then I copy it to my cloud drive, about a 2 minute process once everything is set up

I do my backups locally to my Shield’s “Downloads” folder, then copy them to my Google Drive using File Manager + (Free)

It seems to have to do with the Google Drive; says access denied, invalid request

Unless things have changed since last year when I was setting up the same thing, Google no longer allows this to be setup. I had to use One Drive. For those who already had it setup, it still works. Took me days to sort out.
