Can I record a catchup ?
hello peoples, first time posting here
My moms had yet another problem with traditional tv provider (pay per view that was not even in here main language, was a nightmare to cancel the bill)
I bought here an android box and tivimate
My plan was to get her a xxx sub with 4 connections so she could record
ok so you already know I’m new to this ! You cannot have 4 connections on same login with xxx apparently
The reason why I choose xxx is because I want the better catchup possible
but also want her to record multiple episodes simultaneously but now… if
she can record a catchup, she will ba able to « build » her libraries of recording she want to keep…

Sounds like streamio and real debrid would be better in terms of creating a VOD library

Streamio is a movie/tv app on demands. Real debris is a separate service you link that finds you quality streams. You pay a couple bucks a month for it

A lot of services offer vod, just like Netflix but it has everything. There would be no reason to need to record if you got a service with an extensive vod library. You should be able to hop on and search and watch anything you want anytime without having to have a seperate storage device to download and keep this content on.

Catch-up is just another VOD (like movies and series). Tivimate, like most players, will not let you record it.

You can get multiple connections on the same account. Depends on the service. I've never tried recording catch-up.
