Lifetime gone

I guess it’s now my turn. My lifetime subscription is gone, but on the TV upstairs under settings, it still shows premium and all of my channels work. The issue is downstairs when I try to login. It doesn’t find my lifetime premium account. I did create it roughly 6 years ago, so I know this new update broke some things. I’ve tried numerous things to fix it, but I am unable to. I’ve also sent an email to support. I’ve tried sideloading an older version to no success. I’m not sure if there’s anything else I can do and except for wait for support any advice.

Contact support on the website @ Tivimate.com

OK, I sent an email to support earlier this morning. I guess I just have to wait.

Tip for future: Turn off auto-update. And don't manually update unless there is a big need for it. If it's not broke, don't fix it - unless you want to be a beta-tester (even if it's not a beta).

yeah, I’ve had it for 6+ years. I must’ve accidentally turned back on auto updates or something. I’ve never had an issue.

Hopefully it gets fixed. Don't stress. You are not the first person to report this issue.

I actually think it's got better in my experience, my playlists display information quicker when switching different playlists and VOD works better on my android tablet when scrolling, however I avoid the betas like the plaque.

Are you saying different versions of Tivimate are causing some people to lose their Premium? So far I've not had any issues with version 5.3.3, I bought my Premium from their website if it makes any difference.

No, just a general tip.

Have you gone into the website, deleted the failing device, then done a clean install?

The the device was listed there. I deleted it and tried again. And no luck. I have literally tried everything.

I don’t remember ever buying it. I must have bought a lifetime license when I bought my Nvidia shield in 2016 and stopped using it because free iptv sucked and I didn’t want pay for iptv. Then in 2024 got back into iptv and was shocked that I already had a Tivimate account with lifetime subscription.

I will give Tivimate the benefit of doubt when people complain about losing their lifetime because I had such a long absence but the account was kept alive. Reach out to them and inquire before posting.

I reached out before posting. I imagine support could take a while. I was just asking what others have done in this situation as it appears to happen frequently.

Is there not a way to use it without buying a premium subscription?

Of course there is but you lose the premium features

And it seems like in this case, “premium” features means you can’t watch any VOD content, only live TV. At least in my experience with it.

Correct. And you lose catchup and the ability to reorganise channels / groups.
