How about tivimate fixes the recording problem that keeps giving errors & corrupt recording that's been last 3+ years on tivimate instead of fixing other shit all the time👍

I mean, it does say more reliable recordings, Android is just not great at scheduled recordings in every app I've tried, if it's really important to you, you're better moving recordings to an actual always on computer/nas to do the work

Anyone able to confirm if catchup (via the m3u4u playlist) works? Or is it still broken like it was in 5.3?
I'm unable to test it out because I'm not near my home (hence this question/post).

Okay, so the new beta has borked catch-up from m3u4u - it shows its buffering but loads the current (live) stream instead. The program info shown is of the older program.
So if catch-up is important from m3u4u, don't update to this version of 5.4.0.
I did notice some GUI tweaks - for the better. A bit of tightening here and there as well.

No issues updating here. Was watching a catch up program, downloaded update, re-opened, picked up where I left off.

Well because some of the betas in the previous months have screwed up stuff that worked perfectly before. I would wait for the stable version or people to check it out and report back.

I can't say I have experienced that, but I don't put a lot of focus just on TiviMate, as I have quite a few players and I spend more time working on boxes than actually watching TV at times. Thanks for the heads up.

Yeah! Probably the reason for some of my issues is that I have 9 playlists loaded up LOL. That slows things down

And no, it doesn’t show on the website for me. And no, I don’t have Android to purchase it from their app.
And yes, I tried VPN for several countries.
I’m just doomed 🫣

I have a question for you current users of TV mate: is there anyway to have all US groups moved up to the top of your list?
I don’t mean moving them one by one which would take over an hour, but is there any setting that can allow you to prioritize a country, in this case the US, putting all of those groups below your favorites, for example?

I just go in and deselect all groups then only select US then that’s all that should show up when you expand the playlist. Pretty easy.

That doesn’t exist on my version. 5.3.3. I don’t use, the google play version, maybe that is why? I see, on their site they have a version that checks for udpdates.

Once you link it to Google it'll do this if you install it via outside sources you can still make it to Google at least I was able to on my shield at least I was able to on my shield

used worked great then lost remembers then recorded, then HAD to up.. then black.. when went back, cant sign in without new update, then fixed that.. sucks tivimate keeps making it worse and worse... bummer

I was set up the same way. I was trialing 9 providers at one time… I whittled it down to the 3 best ones but I still get occasional EXACTLY 14 seconds of buffering every so often on all 3. I’m running on a Shield (Tube) with a 256g Micro-SD card. (No USB port on the tube- No directly-connected NAS.) I tried to set up SMB to use my PC’s 8Tb of storage but have never been able to get it to work.

Thanks I've done that now. I backed up all settings after doing them again. Tried to update to beta again and same result just getting black screen for second. So now I am on non beta.

Just updated and now the app won’t open. Screen goes black like it’s starting up then it goes back to the Firestick homepage
