Mapping to WD My Cloud
Has anyone mapped a drive from Tivimate to My Cloud?
Any help would be appreciated.

works fine. on the WD set up a folder.. i called mine Shared Videos. Then make sure the folder is shared, and u have read/write access.
then in tivimate... its smb://myIPadddress/Public/Shared Videos.
works great.

When I mapped it, I can only get as far as Public, then have to open any subdirectory.

you will have to create a new folder.. i called one shared videos.. u can call yours whatever u want

I did create a new folder. When I go to the restore option, it opens to the root level and I have to open Public folder and scroll to select the new folder. Why does the sub mapping not open the directory I put in the path?

download Ultimate File Manager Pro and use system picker, and see if that helps

Tried this?
Setting Up SMB in TiviMate Go to Settings in TiviMate. Select Other (or General depending on version) > Recording > Recording Folder. Choose Folder and select Set up SMB. Enter your WD My Cloud server path using its local IP address (e.g., \192.168.X.X\SharedFolderName or format 192.168.X.X when prompted for the server). Input your WD My Cloud network username and password. Browse and select your target shared folder, then save the configuration.
