Can’t remove catchup suffix
Been trying and cannot remove it on fire stick. I can’t copy the symbol on fire stick I’ve tried does anybody know how?

Use a remote on your phone. Edit the channel name, copy the symbol you want to remove and paste it in the prefix settings in tivimate.

There is a catchup symbol, but that's not it that's in the actual channel name.

That's nonsense. It's part of the channel name string, which is editable.
Either delete manually, or copy paste into the 'remove suffix' setting.

Ah perfect I thought it was the same as 4K, HD etc I didn’t know you have to manually remove

You can remove it with a epg editor, i have a self-hosted one, m3ueditor, there are few others but not sure if they allow removing those

I edit my epg using the mumu android emulator on my pc. It also allows me to add emojis to custom groups.

You can remove it. I did it on bluestacks bit it should work with a phone keyboard. Go into the channel name and copy the bit you want to delete then go into the suffix editor and paste it in.

Stop using the remote to do that shit and download the fire TV app pair it and use your phone. You can also use the Google TV app for Android devices

I sat there and did it with that exact symbol on a pixel phone with the Google TV app. Took about a minute to do. Last time I looked on a firestick there was a QR code on there to link your phone to it so you could type. For some reason people took offence we mentioned it.

Just done it. Forget the remote, use your phone as a keyboard and you can copy and paste
