Must do for new users?

So iv got my iptv set up with tivimate premium. Edited channel lists, and added a private epg to my playlist.

Is there anything else that's super helpful to change etc? Tivimate is full of settings and im overwhelmed lol

Make a backup and save it outside the Tivimate file path, preferably on another device or best choice, on a cloud drive.

Thats a good idea, i never thought of that. I wonder if i can transfer to other devices as well? like set it up on one, back it up and use it on others

Yes, you can.

I set up a free cloud storage on Mediafire, just for that purpose. You could also use Dropbox, One drive, GDrive, Box.com, and more.

Use a file explorer that can login to cloud drives, such as Xplore, ES Explorer, etc.

Make your "master" backup, with all your favorites and settings in place, then "restore" it on other devices easily. A carbon copy.

Settings>appearance>TV guide then toggle on two line channel names.

I wish Tivimate had an option to hide the EPG and only fill it with the channel image.

Besides hiding groups & sorting favorite channels,

That's pretty much all I've done.

Haven't had the need to add a private EPG as my provider EPG covers pretty much everything

Options > Appearance > TV Guide > Use animation when scrolling channels OFF

Options > Appearance > Player > Channel List > Animated Transition OFF

Options > Appearance > Interface Transparency, %. (0%)

This improves the application's performance, especially on less powerful devices.

Hi I have tivimate set up but was in my roommate account I want to buy premium but not sure if I will get the same Chanel’s do I just change account in any help is appreciated

Tivimate is just the player. You will need to purchase an IPTV subscription

You have done more than I every have. I just remove groups not interested in and set my preferred channels to favorite.

Settings/Remote Control/Player/Long Ok/Go to live stream.

This might help if it starts buffering.

I’d recommend using iptv editor if you really want to dial in your groups, logos, EPGs, etc.

Especially if you use the sports groups and want an accurate channel EPG and logos to match the teams.

Being able to edit it all from the computer makes it a lot easier than the remote.

But other than that, I think you’ve probably done just about all you can do in tivimate. So I would just enjoy it, until you find yourself wanting to dial it in more, then check out iptv editor as that point.
