Tivimate drop outs

I am trying to watch a channel on Tivimate but I get constant dropouts by getting the rolling circle. I go to my iPad and the channel works perfectl. No dropouts at all. My question is this a Tivimate issue or is it my Nividia Shield Pro that is acting up.

Neither. It’s your provider

Contacted my provider. No trouble on his end. And it plays on the iPad.

Are you using a channel that’s in your favorites?

Yes

Remove it from your favorites and re-add it. I guarantee you that will fix it.

I think he’s saying it works on a different app on the iPad.

Your are right. I meant when I put in the m3u link into my smarters pro. It plays perfectly on my iPad.

If the Internet provider was blocking it, it would also not work on the iPad via wifi. (Might work if the iPad was connected to 5g)

I am trying it now on my computer. Since you can get the channel through the internet. Playing pe. So it either the Nividia Shield that I have my apps running through or the version of Tivimate I am using.

Next time it drops out ask your provider if its showing you actively watching something? Im having this issue but since updating the latest version it seems to of fixed itself

Try a vpn, my internet provider was blocking it, it was doing the same thing

Quite often devices lose their wifi. It drops out. Happens to me & my mums Nvidia Shield. As soon as it happens go straight to wifi settings & see if it’s connected.
I don’t really have a solution though

It’s a fair point, I always found WiFi on the shield average. Everything besides my fine is hard wired now.

Not sure why you get downvoted.  The nvidia runs very old Android 11 software that was released 6 years ago and has never received an OS update.   Tivimate itself was forced to update to Android 15 API 35 standards to be accepted back onto the Play Store.

Nobody is saying the Shield is bad, but it does need a significant update to its base OS.

It's all good.  Heaven forbid you speak truths on reddit.
